Gesundheitsdaten sind ein entscheidender Motor für Innovation und Fortschritt in der medizinischen Forschung, Diagnostik und Behandlung.Der Europäische Gesundheitsdatenraum (EHDS 1) und das deutsche Gesundheitsdaten-Nutzungsgesetz (GDNG 2) bieten einen rechtlichen Rahmen für die Erhebung, Weitergabe und Nutzung von Gesundheitsdaten. Der Fokus liegt derzeit auf der erfolgreichen lokalen Umsetzung. Wichtige Akteure aus medizinischer Forschung und Praxis, Industrie und Unternehmertum, Bund und Ländern, der Patientenvertretung und der Datensicherheit trafen sich am 29. April 2024 in Erlangen auf Einladung von EIT Health Germany-Switzerland, Amgen Germany, Medical Valley EMN e.V. und Siemens Healthineers.Ziel war es, den aktuellen Stand der Digitalisierung im Gesundheitswesen in Bayern und Deutschland zu erörtern, konkrete Lösungen für die weitere Entwicklung zu identifizieren und Erkenntnisse darüber auszutauschen, was bereits gut funktioniert, um das deutsche Gesundheits- und Krankenhauswesen digitaler und nachhaltiger zu gestalten. Der vorliegende Bericht fasst die Ergebnisse der Veranstaltung zusammen und gibt einen Überblick über den aktuellen Stand und Chancen für eine konstruktive Weiterentwicklung. Verbesserungen in allen Bereichen – technische Infrastruktur, finanzielle und personelle Ressourcen, Bildung und Kommunikation – sind notwendig, um bestehende Hürden zu überwinden.
