Universe – A Timeline

The scientific explanation of the origin of the Universe is that of a Big Bang. However, The Quranic verses indicate that the universe is an "uninterrupted sequence from origin until the end" within a specific time span. The verses further reveal that everything in the material universe is inter-connected through "tracks and pathways" (possibly providing for instant communication and travel), and could be the same as 'wormholes' that scientists speak of. As commonly understood, the human body is a part of earthly evolution (created from clay). However, The Quran states that the infusion of ‘Nafs’ in the mother’s womb transforms the foetus into a ‘human’ much before birth (V. 7; 172). “The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam …” [V. 3; 59], declaring that Adam (AS) too had a mother, but no father. Possibly, Adam (AS) and Eve (AS) were born to different Neanderthal females (humans share 4-5% DNA with Neanderthals). And, God bestowed Adam (AS) and Eve (AS) with only two sons. Only a few offspring received 'Nafs' from God to be human while the remaining were eliminated by Noah's flood and the passage of time. The Physicist's Conception of Nature

The fundamental conceptions of twentieth-century physics have profoundly influenced almost every field of modern thought and activity. Quantum Theory, Relativity, and the modern ideas on the Structure of Matter have contributed to a deeper understand ing of Nature, and they will probably rank in history among the greatest intellectual achievements of all time. The purpose of our symposium was to review, in historical perspective, the current horizons of the major conceptual structures of the physics of this century. Professors Abdus Salam and Hendrik Casimir, in their remarks at the opening of the symposium, have referred to its origin and planning. Our original plan was to hold a two-week symposium on the different aspects of five principal themes: 1. Space, Time and Geometry (including the structure of the universe and the theory of gravita tion),2. Quantum Theory (including the development of quantum mechanics and quantum field theory), 3. Statistical Description of Nature (including the discussion of equilibrium and non-equilibrium phenomena, and the application of these ideas to the evolution of biological structure), 4. The Structure of Matter (including the discus sion, in a unified perspective, of atoms, molecules, nuclei, elementary particles, and the physics of condensed matter), and finally, 5. Physical Description and Epistemo logy (including the distinction between classical and quantum descriptions, and the epistemological and philosophical problems raised by them).

Prior to 20th century physics it was believed an ethereal medium pervaded all space. It was believed the ether is necessary to explain light as waves propagating through a medium. Physicists failed to confirm the ether really exists. Only indirect inference to wave properties can be made with regard to its possible existence. Otherwise it is invisible to our world. Ethereal physics has been abandoned. It has been replaced with a methodology whereby only what can be observed is considered real. All observable effects are mathematically related in the form of a functional theory. Much of theory is postulated, not explained. There is, for instance, no attempt to explain the probability nature of quantum mechanics. Only the results are considered pertinent to scientific investigation. However, with the historical foundation from which modern theory evolves, physicists are becoming confused. They believe, for instance, general relativity predicts black holes. There are no black holes. They are myths created from inconsistent interpretation of theory. This book goes beyond physics to explain the physics of gravity, the atomic structure and cosmology. It provides a historical perspective for understanding physics in a more consistent manner.
