The book has been completely rewritten and restructured with the aim of making it an authoritative book on electrocardiography while retaining the characteristic didactic approach of `Introduction to Electrocardiography.' The book has been substantially revised to bring it up to date with current electrocardiographic knowledge. The book is now in two parts; the first covers the analysis of 12 lead patterns and the second the disorders of cardiac rhythm. Medical students learn cardiac physiology in the first year.
