Models that also allow us to interpret stratified sections of roads, even very long roads. The survey of Via della Lungaretta is one such survey graphically representing all the formal invariants of the physical characteristics of the 'place'. The article illustrates the process used to understand this part of the city, starting with a metric survey, how it is perceived, and finally its chromatic characteristics.
Urban Forms
This popular and influential work, translated here into English for the first time, argues that modern urbanism has upset the morphology of cities, abolished their streets and isolated their buildings.
