Finding himself unable to use his divine eye on an island clamoring with SSS-rank monsters, he's suddenly rescued by Echidna, looking different than she does now, and…demon lord Miktoran?! He also gains a clue for how to defeat a demon god when he witnesses their “Spirit Cloak Enlightenment” technique. After acquiring the sacred treasure and returning to the present, Ein and Yuri begin training to use Spirit Cloak Enlightenment themselves. Their attempt to make their hearts one by running a three-legged race doesn't pan out, so Pina suggests a drastic last resort…
