This is a study to create a MATLAB simulation that models a synthetic aperture radar system with the ability to image stationary and moving point targets in a two-dimensional plane. High resolution imaging is expected to be achieved using the range Doppler algorithm. In addition to imaging point targets, slowly moving targets will be tracked using a Kalman filter in order to maintain surveillance and predict future locations.
