Every star is a moon by Sneha Shukla is a collection of poetry and beautiful artworks. As the title suggests, the whole book focuses on how we can make something very creative out of small things, the author has tried to justify by giving the example of the moon and the stars and how the stars appear to be smaller in comparison to the moon but still hold much importance for they make the night sky even more beautiful and complete. The ambition of the poems is to convey to the readers that we should never lose hope and it is often "the little things" which change our whole life.

The language of the book is simple and inviting, while not conforming to any of the traditional rules of poetic syntax. The title of the book, 'Sonder' is borrowed from John Koenig's Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows. His definition of the word reads - "The realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own."""
