Abstract: "This paper presents a simple and efficient solution to the problem of estimating the correct time in distributed systems. Based on a clock model consisting of an offset and a rate, the estimating process is constructed. Various simulation results show that the method enables to achieve clock synchronization precision superior to those obtained by previously published clock synchronization algorithms."
