The mass shooting in Texas on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, that killed 19 children galvanized me into writing this children’s book. It is my solution to the killing-children-in-their-schools problem. I am convinced it is the only solution that will work! It is written for and to the Children who were not killed in these egregious mass shootings who will live to adulthood so they can do what their parents and grandparents would not or could not do, which is to get the guns and stop the killing. Since the mass shooting in Texas involved 4th graders, I used a 4th grader named Carlos to get my message across, and since children are our future and will lead the way to solving this unfortunate problem of ours by changing America when they grow up, I used the children’s book as the medium for my message. There will come a Tipping Point when the majority of Americans will want to get the guns and it will arrive when the friends of the children being killed today become Voters and Congressmen and Supreme Court Judges and President!
