Better yet, the figmental figure of Tamerlane idem Timur became the foundation for the consensual 'biography' of the greatest warrior of all times Alexander the Great. The dominating historical discourse in its current state was essentially crafted in the XVI century from a rather contradictory jumble of sources literally in line with American philosopher Santana's definition: � History is a pack of lies about events that never happened told by people who weren't there �. Prescient Saint Augustine warned: 'be wary of mathematicians, particularly when they speak the truth!'.
