thersites is an international open access journal for innovative transdisciplinary classical studies edited by Annemarie Ambühl, Filippo Carlà-Uhink, Christian Rollinger and Christine Walde. thersites expands classical reception studies by publishing original scholarship free of charge and by reflecting on Greco-Roman antiquity as present phenomenon and diachronic culture that is part of today’s transcultural and highly diverse world. Antiquity, in our understanding, does not merely belong to the past, but is always experienced and engaged in the present. thersites contributes to the critical review on methods, theories, approaches and subjects in classical scholarship, which currently seems to be awkwardly divided between traditional perspectives and cultural turns. thersites brings together scholars, writers, essayists, artists and all kinds of agents in the culture industry to get a better understanding of how antiquity constitutes a part of today’s culture and (trans-)forms our present. thersites appears twice yearly and publishes regular issues as well as specially-themed and guest-edited issues focused on individual subjects and questions. Call for papers are released regularly and long in advance on our homepage (https://thersites-journal.de/) and on other pages that feature announcements for classical studies (APA, Mommsen-Gesellschaft etc.).

ESCRITORAS ITALIANAS INÉDITAS EN LA QUERELLA DE LAS MUJERES: TRADUCCIONES EN OTROS IDIOMAS, PERSPECTIVAS Y BALANCES VOLUMEN I

Esta edición representa la ocasión de evaluar y difundir los resultados de las diferentes investi-gaciones, plantear nuevas posibilidades de proyectos y colaboraciones entre diferentes univer-sidades e investigadores, y finalmente crear Redes Internacionales de cooperación científico-técnica y de innovación. Uno de los objetivos específicos que la obra se propone es re-flexionar sobre textos de autores y autoras del pasado y utilizarlos como herramientas para pro-fundizar en temas relacionados con la igualdad cultural entre hombres y mujeres, y sobre cuestiones como la violencia en todas sus variantes, las nuevas masculinidades,... Contemporáneamente, se quiere dar a conocer traducciones al castellano, o a otras lenguas europeas del espacio lingüístico común, de autoras italianas e incentivar nuevas traducciones. Esta publicación quiere proponer un acercamiento diferente al estudio de la Literatura Italiana que permita profundizar temas de literatura y traducción, relacionados con el género, como la rescritura del canon, la recuperación de autoras olvidadas, la interpretación y análisis de los tex-tos. La publicación de estos resultados en una editorial de impacto como la de la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia permitirá su difusión y su visibilidad entre el profesorado y el alumnado de diferentes universidades españolas y extranjeras. Contemporáneamente, se quiere crear un material didáctico en varios idiomas que pueda permitir al profesorado proponer nuevas temáticas de estudio e investigación, relacionadas con escritoras y escritores filóginos durante su actividad docente.
