John B. Leuzarder, a retired businessman, currently resides in New Jersey with his wife Sue and their daughters. John was born and raised in New Jersey, in a strict Irish Catholic home. However, while in college he left the Roman Catholic faith, believing it was hopeless trying to live up to God's standards. In 1987 John and Sue, through the Gospel, met the Lord Jesus Christ at a New Year's party; their lives were dramatically changed. In the midst of worldly success, God showed them "A Pearl of Great Price" peace with God through the Gospel of Grace. One year later they sold their businesses to devote their lives to following and serving Jesus Christ. John currently serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Camp-of-the-Woods, located in Speculator New York, which has been faithfully proclaiming God's Word since 1900. John has spoken on a variety of Christian topics and has given his testimony on radio, at family conferences, and in churches in the USA and Canada. He teaches several weekly Bible studies, as well as weekly Sunday school. An avid 'outdoorsman', John also instructs young men in a variety of outdoor and woodworking skills.
