School Fire Drills
The results of this research led to three primary recommendations: a) conduct a pilot test, b) implement the program throughout all middle schools, and then c) institute an educational based planned fire drill program throughout all schools in Des Moines. Together the DMFD and DMPS can collaborate to reach an at-risk audience, increase fire prevention awareness, and hopefully decrease the incidence of fire in Des Moines.
