With love, reverence, and gratitude, Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) offers the March 2025 issue of Sathya Sai – The Eternal Companion at the divine lotus feet of our dear Lord, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. We wish everyone a happy, blessed, and holy Maha Shivaratri. May we become enlightened by focusing solely on God on this auspicious day. This issue features: A divine discourse, delivered on March 17, 1973, in which Swami guides us to God, who is enshrined in our hearts. He emphasizes that one's mind should be trained to develop a taste for the good and the godly alone - not for material gains. Peace has to emerge from within, which is possible only through divine love. An inspiring letter from Bhagawan to Charles Penn, an ardent devotee of Swami, urging everyone to become an instrument of the Lord by developing intelligence, discrimination, and detachment. An editorial, Sri Rudram - Part 2, on the Vedic hymn that is remarkable for its phonetic grandeur and universal approach to the divine. The editorial explains the meaning of each of the 11 anuvakas of the Rudram and the Chamakam. The February 2025 issue featured Part 1 of this editorial, which delved into the significance of the Rudram. Inspiring experiences of three devotees from the North American continent show the power and beauty of Swami's blessings. While one devotee experiences the bountiful grace of Swami when he dedicates himself to Swami's organization, the second one serves in the SSSIO after witnessing a marvelous miracle in Mexico. The third devotee shares her experience about obeying Swami's command and His omniscience. The publication contains inspiring snippets on the selfless services rendered by the SSSIO in Greece, the Philippines, Russia, and the USA. It also includes articles on the programs and activities of Sai Young Adults worldwide, including a devotional day out in Sri Lanka, serving the hungry in Hong Kong, and a special satsang in nature in Mauritius. Finally, Mr. Shivabalan Nagakumaran shares his reflections on how he experienced ‘Unity in Diversity’ through transformative experiences. With love, reverence, and gratitude, Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) offers the Maha Shivaratri issue of Sathya Sai – The Eternal Companion at the divine lotus feet of our dear Lord, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This issue features: A divine discourse, delivered on February 21, 1974, in which Swami exhorts us not to waste life and to have God as the goal of life. He says we should make God our guide, dedicating all our skills and strengths to Him. In this context, Swami also delves into the important role of Maha Shivaratri in intensifying our sadhana of continuous japa to attain liberation. An inspiring letter from Bhagawan to Rajagopal, an ardent devotee of Swami, urging us to let God work through us, focus on our own ideals, and not waste time judging others. An editorial, Sri Rudram - Part 1, about the divine Vedic hymn that is remarkable for its phonetic grandeur and universal approach to the divine. It delves into the meaning of the Rudram and the importance Swami gave to it. The editorial explains how and when to chant the Rudram to please Rudra, the supreme omnipresent being who manifests in myriad forms to spiritual seekers. The March 2025 issue will feature Part 2 of this editorial, which explains in detail the Namakam and the Chamakam, the two components of the Rudram. Inspiring experiences of three devotees from India, Malaysia, and Colombia that show how adversities are opportunities for God to enter our lives. One devotee overcame speech difficulties by Swami's grace, while another was relieved from acute and chronic pain of spinal injury by the blessings of Baba. The third devotee succeeded in business in the most challenging times and learned the importance of a united family in serving Swami. A detailed history of the Sathya Sai school and college in Murwillumbah, Australia, which grew into an impactful institution in the community from humble beginnings, achieving excellence based on the five human values taught by Swami. The publication contains inspiring snippets on the selfless services rendered by the SSSIO in Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and New Zealand.
