Rest Here, My Love

My emotions have been bled onto the pages and a complete outpouring of grief has been displayed for all to see. I am bare and my armor has been shed. There is no guard up. My psychological ups and downs and emotional swings are available for you to judge. Am I heartbroken or crazy or both? Is it normal to lose your mind when you lose your love? That's up to you the reader to interpret in these writings. It is meant to be heavy, and perhaps difficult, to digest. An exercise in mental fortitude that will hopefully strengthen the resolve of the reader should they conjure the energy to read it through. If you find it churns your stomach, wrenches your heart, or moves your soul - good - that is the point. It is meant to embroil you, stress you, and draw up emotions that we normally lock away and never address. Those very same emotions are what I consider necessary to understand unconditional love. Love is a whirlwind and you should prepare to open your sail into the biggest gusts of air without fear. Read without trepidation.
