"Stellar Origami Nakshatras" series is a saga of simple modular origami stars designed by Nikhil. The designs chosen in this book are aimed at beginners and intermediate level folders. The book has instructions to more than 25 origami nakshatras and provides an exclusive set of #NiksOrigamiTips to hone your skills. He further encourages to explore the depths of these designs by creating new nakshatras, using the secrets revealed in the "Theory of Nakshatras". The book introduces you to an intriguing set of more than 20,000 variations of the modules, in the form of 30 fun challenges including 20+ crease patterns. It provides an illustrative guide on solving crease patterns for beginners. An informative list of paper suppliers in India is also included. Names of some Nakshatras in the book are: Janani, Vaayu, Pallava, Chakri, Surya, Uttara, Disha, Skandha, Aatma, Mitra, Garuda, Panchanga Nakshatra, and so on. "Nikhil has taken just one idea for a modular origami star and developed it into an understanding of and process for creating more new models than one can imagine. To reveal new possibilities is a wonder, but his stimulating guidance for creativity by the readers is a remarkable gift for our paper folding community. Nikhil's book is spectacular. Enjoy it." -Robert E. Neale About the Author: Nikhil Suryanarayana is an origami artist from India. He has been into origami and kirigami for over 13 years. At the time of publishing this book, he is pursuing his Master's in Lifestyle Accessory Design from the prestigious National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar (Gujarat, India)- a premier design school in the world. He finds joy in sharing his knowledge and learnings. His works span from self-initiated miniature origami projects to large-scale commercial projects, and fun workshops with young minds to corporate team-building sessions. His parents Suryanarayana S and Veena S played a major role in introducing him to the art form at an early age. Over the years, his passion for tackling complex challenges through origami only grew. Nikhil's experiments range from single sheet complex origami, modular origami to elaborate paper cutting in 2D and 3D. He appreciates how origami perfectly infuses design, art, mathematics, and many more concepts into a beautiful concoction. While the art form looks beautiful, he appreciates how it also improves the artist's imagination skills, spatial awareness, logical reasoning, attention, patience, mental health, and more. He finds origami meditative and can easily spend hours folding away. He posts his work regularly on his website and social media handles (@Niksorigami on all major platforms). Sanskrit Non-Translatables

Sanskrit Non-Translatables is a path-breaking and audacious attempt at Sanskritizing the English language and enriching it with powerful Sanskrit words. It continues the original and innovative idea of nontranslatability of Sanskrit, first introduced in the book, Being Different. For English readers, this should be the starting point of the movement to resist the digestion of Sanskrit into English, by introducing loanwords into their English vocabulary without translation. The book presents a thorough mechanism of the process of digestion and examines the loss of adhikara for Sanskrit because of translating its core ideas into English. The movement launched by this book will resist this and stop the programs that seek to turn Sanskrit into a dead language by translating all its treasures to render it redundant. It discusses fifty-four non-translatables across various genres that are being commonly mistranslated. It empowers English speakers with the knowledge and arguments to introduce these Sanskrit words into their daily speech with confidence. Every lover of India’s sanskriti will benefit from the book and become a cultural ambassador propagating it through routine communications.
FARTHER

“Life is unpredictable, even though we always desire ecstasy. What if life offered you innumerable tragedies, sorrowful pains & dreadful agonies? Would you still have the courage to try and thrive to get what you want? And to be the so called ‘Mr. Fortunate’? Or will you keep blaming your insecurities & failures and choose to be a fiasco?" A sweet couple, Manbir & Nivia, were living with their toddler, Ruhi. They stayed farther from their respective families, cursed by both their parents for having an inter-caste marriage. Manbir was a robotics engineer and while working hard on his dream project to make India’s first AI robot, he failed in his family responsibilities, which was followed by his wife, Nivia’s demise. And when all options were lost, Manbir had to struggle to look after his daughter Ruhi, while continuing to work on his company projects. Will he ever be able to be a great father for his motherless child? Will he ever be able to make India’s first AI robot? And how will he find a way to look after his child during his office hours?
