For the majority of tourists their visit to the 'Pearl of the Orient Sea' is uneventful and they return with happy memories of a wonderful vacation. As a Registered Nurse he had the opportunity to research and to study the health and safety issues of the Philippines and here he shares that knowledge. As a tourist one must be alert and prepared to any dangers that may be present. In so doing the reader and tourist, along with their family, will be able to safely avoid or increase there chances of safely managing specific dangers should they arise. The tourist should be aware that specific and potentially deadly illnesses and risks do exist within the Philippines and this book outlines precisely what they are.
