This new development is a welcome avenue for the librarians to perform whatever they do a little easier and better. It has been assumed that with advanced technology, libraries do not need as many professional librarians as they used to have. Many studies attest to the pitfalls of this concept. These studies have concentrated on coping with the technostress and burnout which reference librarians are encountering. Modern Library Technology and reference Services contains ten chapters. First chapter describes the study on web-based reference services in academic libraries. Chapter second has been described the results of a study which treats public library system as multi product enterprises providing lending services across a range of media and serving as an information center for its users. Third chapter focuses on some incipient embedded librarian programs, as well as the obstacles achieving embedded practice. The impact of information behavior in academic library services quality: a case study of the science and technology area has been discussed in fourth chapter. Fifth chapter ensures the modeling web-based library services quality. Sixth chapter reviews the different patrons and different missions, bringing two library cultures and functions together presented many challenges, but the library today is a vital, innovative space for learning. Seventh chapter focuses on the issue of VRS accessibility and also propose an active model to increase VRS usage. A case study on the appropriateness of using quick response (QR) codes in libraries and museums has been represented in chapter eighth. Ninth chapter elaborates the reference library services in the digital environment. The purpose of last chapter is to describe innovate approaches of concept analysis (CA) from nursing scholarship, and also describes the theoretical foundations and application of CA approaches from nursing scholarship and presents an abbreviated case of its application to usage, a concept of interest to the LIS community.
