The new chapter 8 on wiring will be updated to reflect changes in CTO crossing techniques, both antegrade and retrograde, as well as CTO crossing algorithms, including the new Global CTO crossing algorithm. The revised chapter on CTO PCI equipment (chapter 2 in old edition, chapter 17 in new edition) will be significantly edited, as several new equipment types (guidewires, microcatheters, guide extensions) have become available since the last edition.
