El examen First Certificate in English® está diseñado para candidatos de nivel intermedio alto, correspondiente al nivel B2 del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia (MCER) o (CEFR, por sus siglas en inglés), pero también puede medir a los candidatos con niveles avanzados, así como niveles intermedios bajos.
