I also paid attention to the management concepts developed by previous scholars and the practical management concepts that people have explored and grasped in their work and daily lives, including managing affairs and managing oneself. The results of management can be satisfying or dissatisfying for each individual, and both aspects will be discussed. By collecting and organizing these experiences and insights, this book should provide beginners, practicing managers, and general readers and learners with practical insights and references. I hope that this writing style will deepen readers' understanding and comprehension of management and make it practically useful for personal and professional growth and improvement, providing significant assistance. Teaching and writing have been my life's habits. Since retiring from National Taiwan University, I have had more free time but also felt that it is limited. Therefore, I have been working harder to organize my teaching and research experiences and write them into a book. Looking back on nearly a decade of teaching and research, I have published nearly forty books in addition to academic papers. However, management is a subject I have taught and have many insights on, but I have not yet organized it into a book. I decided to make more efforts to turn it into a book and fulfill my responsibility to the society and country that have nurtured me.
