Reducing Poverty on a Global Scale

Based on the findings from the Shanghai Global Learning Initiative (a working conference held in Shanghai in May 2004 organised by the World Bank in partnership with the Chinese Government) this publication explores issues relating to global sustainable development, poverty reduction strategies and the effectiveness of international aid.
