Tales of Riley The Mouse is a wonderful early readers book that was written by an 8 y.o. 4th grader. Riley is a fictional character who is a mouse living as a human. He is an elementary age mouse who experiences common struggles relative to most children his age. During the course of the book, Riley experiences his first true crush on a girl, bullying, moving to a new town and starting a new school and his familys adoption of another child. Riley is the youngest child in a family of 9 and experiences the trials and tribulations of being the baby in the family. He is teased by his siblings often and is also teased in school. Riley finally feels he needs to prove his bravery and prove that he is not a baby. In his attempt to prove himself to others he doesnt always make good choices.
