Le travail presenter dans ce livre concerne la mis en ouvre d'une methodologie de diagnostic de defaut electrique au rotor de la machine asynchrone a cage d'ecureuil. Dans une premiere etape, on a decrit les differentes elements de constitution d'une machine asynchrone a cage d'ecureuil et les principaux defauts pouvant survenir sur ceux-ci apres avoir presente les differentes techniques des entrainements electriques afin d'analyser brievement leur performance respectives. Dans une deuxieme etape nous proposant un modele de la machine asynchrone a cage d'ecureuil base sur la methode des circuits electriques magnetiquement couples en tenant compte des harmoniques d'espace. Deux techniques de diagnostic des defauts des machines asynchrones a cage d'ecureuil. La premiere technique est basee sur l'analyse de la signature du courant moteur. La deuxieme technique est basee sur l'analyse de la caracteristique couple-vitesse produit par les harmoniques d'espace. Les deux techniques sont validees par les resultats experimentaux.
