This report presents a look at the health of mangroves in Darwin Harbour and Shoal as part of the Integrated Marine Monitoring and Research program (IMMRP) funded by INPEX. Remote sensing techniques using Sentinel-2 imagery is used to look at temporal trends in the extent and condition of the mangroves from 2016 to 2021. The report includes a historical analysis of Landsat data which shows the mangroves across the harbour are mostly 30 years or older.
