The novel is the story of two friends; Sandeep and Ashutosh. They are very close to each other though opposite in many ways. Like all young boys of today they grow up under different influences. They face many ordeals for that is what life means. Ashutosh is an N.R.I.; who has the craze to live in the glittering world of outside his country. A violent jerk shakes him and he wakes up to understand what life and its happiness means. The fast moving events of the novel capture the mind of the readers.
