El Libro de las horas inciertas es un compendio de pequeños poemas fugaces, estructurados en forma de haiku e inspirados por cientos de personas afectadas de enfermedad de Alzheimer con las que el autor ha tenido contacto en su quehacer profesional. Se dirían fruto de la destilación de sentimientos compartidos, temores barruntados y esperanzas truncadas; además de ello son reflejo de la vida en otra dimensión, de otra manera de verla y entenderla, dentro de los parámetros de la desmemoria. Los relojes que ilustran el texto son obra de los propios pacientes en diferentes etapas de la evolución de la enfermedad; muestran fielmente su interpretación de la realidad sometida al tamiz de un Yo herido por el olvido.
