MEL, Jess Gulbranson's debut slipstream novel, was serialized in the Pacific NW arts & culture ezine NW Drizzle from February 2001 to February 2005. It followed the eponymous red-sweatshirted protagonist through a series of misadventures across time and alternate dimensions, littered with minefields of myth and pop culture.
The Kindle edition includes all the supplemental materials including interview, quiz, and movie spoof. It also adds a new author's afterword.
