Ride, Zarina, Ride

The story of Princess Zarina, although fictional, is based on accounts of the reign of Akbar and the diary of his aunt, Begum Gul Badan. Zarina, a brave and independent heroine, gets involved in the theft of a shipment of golden coins being transported to the royal mint in Delhi when the head groom of her father's stables is implicated. She rides at night to warn the authorities of danger and falls in love with the Governor's assistant, a promising young man, Adil.
