This book is meant for Japanese youth to learn English while reading a humorous comic book. The title, "Eiyaku Sasuga no Sarutobi", means "English Translation: Sarutobi as Expected."

Nikumaru Sarutobi is a school age master ninja with magical powers. He's a short, chubby, oblivious, and loyal goofball. He likes a girl ninja from his school named Mako. There are two chapters in this book: A Magician's Field Day and The Nikumaru Family Album.

The entire manga is in black, white, grey, and peach/pink.

All the panels show the Japanese next to the English translation. There are a few paragraphs of Japanese language explanation of English grammar and slang. If it wasn't for that, it would be evenly English and Japanese text.
