Any person’s life can go horribly wrong due to the actions of others. The event may come from a family member, be connected to one’s work, or a random occurrence. Ben Winslow is an innocent victim of happenings in his personal and professional life. He is a well trained, respected detective working for DEA. His world comes crashing down violently involving his wife and a drug king in such a way that he loses complete control. His actions bring on a conviction for murder and temporary insanity. In prison he meets a prisoner who is innocent. Ben hears the man's story and the gross misjustice of being convicted of a murder he didn't do. Ben is nearly killed on two occasions and the sheriff who is his friend begs him to leave it alone. But he persists and a suspect hitherto unknown and a key witness are uncovered to provide vital information. A fast moving mystery and a story of how two men's lives become intertwined.
