From high in the hills of Countryshire the river Flemm flows down to a lush valley where it meanders past quaint little villages and hamlets such as Much Blather, Bordham Witlass, Sharpe Corner and Sawe Bottom on its way to the distant sea.
And in each settlement there are stories to be told…….
Our journey takes us down the river at a gentle pace, stopping off at each village in turn to hear a tale or two unfurl, tales of sauciness and frivolity, of muddle and mayhem, of romps, heroism, scandal and rustic charm, with poignancy and pathos and a little satire, all anecdotes to cheer, all told with warmth and humour and without malice or unhappy endings.
There is bravery, adventure, stupidity, deception, romance and love. And plenty of sauce to make it spicy.
