Why did I spend two year in a frozen hellhole?
Money - filthy lucre - cash!
The UK was an economic mess when I graduated as a mining engineer. There were no jobs, whole industries in their death throes.
Frightening times!
Was I going to spend my life stuffing greetings cards in cellophane bags?
Or, was I going to take a risk?
To trust in a guy I had met only twice?
To go and work in a mine overseas?
In the frozen Arctic wastes of Northern Norway?
Probably the most important decision in my life ... A life changing choice!
