Hartford City...a novel

All a divorced police detective named Will Staples wanted to do was take some personal time off and drive from Virginia to the mountains of Colorado. He wanted only to take a breath, relax and just get away... Midway, interrupted by a blinding late night blizzard, he had to leave the interstate highway finding himself in a totally different and unfamiliar world within a small town somewhere in Indiana. A brutal murder and the disappearance of two young girls introduce a combination of circumstances, interesting people and bizarre events that changed his life in that small town... That town was named Hartford City.
