“Deeper and deeper on the inside”, a hypnoticist’s voice oozes over the filmed pages of Rybakova’s book, as these pages soon turn into vast corridors inhabited by oO, the Lithuanian Pavilion at the 55th Venice biennale of art. Instead of being a pedestrian catalogue of the exhibition, Rybakova’s paper choreography spins through its art works, conceits, documents and delusions, making them dance along, moonwalk and fall of the stage, plunging into the pupil of someone’s eye. It’s a book that in the most literal sense contains an exhibition. (Jonas Žakaitis)
