While canvassing the apartment complex of a murder victim, Joel knocks on a door that changed his life forever. He and his partner, Tarron “Tee” Manson stumbled upon a meth lab and a shootout ensued. Hit three times and rushed to the hospital, Joel dies on the operating table and revives after being declared dead.
When he returns to duty, the case he worked, along with the murder of a prominent defense attorney remain unsolved. As he begins another case, mysterious people show up that only he can see. He later finds out they are murder victims. But do the ghosts tell Joel what happened or who did it?
