After losing her brother in a senseless act of violence, Monica has a strong distaste for ex-cons and the system which puts them back on the streets.
Yet, when her church begins an initiative to turn them into productive people, she has a chance encounter with handsome Dom who she begins to see as much more than that.
But with him, Dom brings hidden truths about the brother Monica thought she knew.
