Faith Jones's memoir, pitched as EDUCATED meets THE HANDMAID'S TALE, the story of being raised in The Children of God, a closed-off, extremist religious organization founded by her grandfather, and her journey of self-education and liberation, breaking away at age 23 to go to college, eventually graduating from Georgetown and earning a JD from UC Berkley, where she learned to use legal philosophy to interrogate issues of psychological and physical oppression and discover self-ownership through the pursuit of truth, to Liz Stein at William Morrow.
