6 horror writers are gifted the name of a real person and told to do whatever they wanted as long as these unspeakable acts contained a dog and/or a quilt! In the following stories, nothing bad happens to the doggies (or the quilt) but the same can’t be said for Ruth. She won the right to experience all the madness these writers could throw at her, and they were more than happy to oblige. Welcome to the 4th edition of Recurring Nightmares, the Special Raffle Prize of the annual Monster Mash for Literacy Bash, hosted by the Great Lakes Association of Horror Writers. This annual Halloween party benefits the Dominican Literacy Center of Detroit.
