Something beyond our realm of understanding is about to happen in the small farm community of Sheffield, Iowa.
Charlene (Charlie) and Clint Abbott lead a quiet, peaceful life on 736 acres of prime farmland.
But when their six-year-old daughter Miracle (Mira) tells them that her new “bestest” friend’s name is Faith and they look ‘xactly alike, a chill races down Charlie Abbott’s spine. Mira has never told that her identical twin sister died soon after birth.
Over the next few weeks Mira’s personality begins to change. She is no longer a happy, carefree child. And when Mira accuses Charlie of being abusive, the Abbott family is slowly torn apart.
