When he turns up in the local drunk tank, suspected of murder, lead scientist Thea Kolijn doesn’t know what to do. It seems Arthur’s latest upload, a recently deceased John Doe, wanted the victim dead. To complicate matters, sinfully attractive homicide detective, Carter Delaney, the very person who holds Arthur’s freedom in his hands, is bent on wooing her. If she doesn’t agree to a date, is it the scrap heap for Arthur?
But Delaney has the murder victim and his brain on ice at the city morgue. A brain with more memories for Arthur’s data bank—a brain Thea can use to solve the murder and clear robotic Arthur’s good name.
