Kenan: Hello, everyone. Welcome!
Kel: Where are the TV cameras?
Kenan: This isn't our television show. This is a book. . . . Dippy.
Kel: I read a book once. It was called Andy the Anteater.
Kenan: That's fine, Kel. But this is the first of many adventures with me and you. It's all about. . . .
Kel: Andy broke all the anteater rules. He tasted things he wasn't supposed to, and he enjoyed them.
Kenan: Kel, I don't want to hear about the anteater. We got our own stories to tell.
Kel: Is Andy gonna be in our story?
Kenan: Kel! Our stories don't have any anteaters! They're about you and me, and what it's like to be guys like you and me.
Kel: What is it like?
Kenan: It's like it is everyday, when you're you, and I'm me.
Kel: Do we hang from skyscrapers?
Kenan: Yep.
Kel: Does the whole city of Chicago want to get us?
Kenan: Yep.
Kel: Do we survive?
Kenan: I'm not telling. Guess ya gotta read it. See ya!
Kel: Wait, Kenan! Don't go! I can't read books that don't have lots of pictures! Kenan!. . . Aw, here it goes!
