Touching voids in sense

Rob Halpern's new work in progress enters regions of the self that existing regimes of sense, visible, tactile, and verbal, keep hidden. What's at stake is love, care and the human body, an abyss at which loving care of another's body is the most explosive of concerns. The requirement is radical critique of the logics of meaning. Touching holes in sense is a reflection on the deeper sources of Halpern's previous books and an investigation of how an end to mourning requires nothing less than a different ontology of live and death.
