This novel is about Fuzannah Khan who is a Muslim and her battle and struggle to regain the affection from her parents when she goes against their will by falling in love with a Hindu boy. It is bad enough that Fuzannah's parents are against their relationship however, another dilemma has come into the equation. It is only now as an adult, has Fuzannah come to know that she has been adopted. Will Fuzannah ever be able to get her life back on track? Where will her journey take her?
