Only Crazy Sometimes

Danah visits a psychic healer with a friend and is told her father was probably murdered. Before she even arrives home she decides her stepfather did it. This one leap of bad faith leads Danah to examine all the unspoken thoughts she has about her mother, her husband, and her best girlfriend. As she falls apart emotionally, she is literally renovating her house and appreciating how workmen first observe details and then take action. When her daughter is cast as Hamlet in the school play and the grandparents come to see a performance an old family secret is revealed. Of all the lessons Danah learns the greatest is love.
It's as if Hamlet were a modern woman and very funny.
