Bentley Dean has lost his job - if you can call high-tech bank robbery a form of employment. so he goes straight in as a police investigator, only to find himself embroiled in a far more dangerous scenario than he ever encountered in his life of crime. Dark forces seem to be anticipating his every move. some are helpful, and some deadley, and Set in the future world which satirically echoes the present day, The Escapist is part wry black comedy, part all-action sci-fi with a narrative pace that keeps you reading from cover to cover.
