The two hundred poems in Hebrew which appear in this book were rejected by Israeli society at the time the poet has attempted to return to Israel after one dog year in exile. Bruised and broken hearted the poet has returned to the backwater of Denmark in order to slake his thirst and lick the wounds of his broken dreams. Two long dog years later, an opportunity to publish these Hebrew poems outside of Israel has appeared. Some of the poems bear hidden messages about the poet’s mission to Israel in 2000 and about the vision of the new dawn. Other poems are mere expressions of human experience and emotions, and some poems are love calls embedded with both romantic moods and rhymes.
