Blended Cements in Construction

This volume is to take stock of current research, developments and applications, and acquaint engineers, consultants, concrete producers and local authorities with the technical and economic benefits that the use of blended cements will bring to the construction industry. Composite cements can be developed to suit the engineering and performance requirements of a given application, but one needs to have a clear understanding of the material at several levels, and confidence and reliability in this new concrete technology. The papers included in these Proceedings go some way towards the realization of this new era.
