"Badon" is a modern collection of tales from the mists of Britain's past, retold in a simple and direct folkloric style that creates a mythic world all its own and breathes new life into the tales that helped formed the foundation of the British world and the West.

The tales begin with the story of the rise to power of Bran the Blessed, the giant first king of Britain, and then his overthrowing by King Brutus and his warriors, defending their people, all Trojan refugees seeking a new home under the guidance gods of Mount Olympos.

Also is shown Britain's Once and Future King, Arthur, as he defends his kingdom from a new band of conquerors from across the sea, the mighty Saxon invaders, and the political intrigues that develop from within and without his court, particularly as a result of the affair between his greatest and most honored knight Sir Lancelot, the son of fierce Khazar horsemen from the eastern steppes who came to Britain to fight for its kings, and Arthur's Queen Guinevere.

On display is the King's human frailty and failings, as well his strengths and glory, and all the complexity that makes Arthur such an enduring figure, even down to the modern age.
