Samuel Zwemer (1867 – 1952), American theologian and missionary, was himself nicknamed The Apostle to Islam. But the first Christian missionary to the Muslim world was Raymond Lull (1232 - c. 1315). In this biography Zwemer covers Lull's life, mission, writings, and eventual martyrdom.
